Donate to CHAD

CHAD is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization. We will write a letter for your donation that you can use as your tax receipt.

CHAD does not receive any public funding for rental property maintenance, operations, nor for rental subsidies through our Sliding Scale Program. Your monetary donation will contribute to:

• Help cover subsidized rent, an average $325 per month per household. The family pays an average $650 per month, and your gift would help cover the remaining portion so that a working family can live within their means. $500 would help cover the subsidy for nearly 2 months; $4,000 would help a family for the entire year.
• Just Homes expenses that we incur while a house is “on the market.” We pay an average $5,000 per house for utilities, yard maintenance (lawn/snow), real estate tax, and selling expenses.
• Capital costs to rehab/improve our rental properties.
